This summer, I had the absolute joy of leading a baby naming ceremony at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard. A stunning venue nestled in the Yorkshire countryside. The ceremony took place outdoors. We were surrounded by the beautiful backdrop of the grapevines, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and meaningful celebration.
As a celebrant in Yorkshire, I love helping families craft ceremonies that feel truly personal. This one was full of heartfelt touches. We shared carefully chosen poems, explored the meaning behind the baby’s name, and invited Grandparents and Guideparents to make their promises. Emotional words of love, guidance, and support for the little one as they grow.

There were so many special people who had played an important role in this family’s journey, and Mum wanted to make sure they were all recognised. Together, we included a moment of thanks to express her gratitude. A lovely way to acknowledge everyone who has supported their family along the way.
The ceremony concluded with the signing of a naming certificate, a simple yet meaningful keepsake to mark the day. It was such a joy to see everyone come together to celebrate love, family, and the start of a new chapter.
This celebrant-led baby naming ceremony at Yorkshire Heart was everything a naming should be — relaxed, joyful, and deeply personal.
If you’re thinking about planning your own baby naming ceremony, it’s a wonderful way to welcome your child surrounded by family and friends. Whether held in your garden, a favourite park, or a stunning venue like Yorkshire Heart Vineyard, your ceremony can be as unique and meaningful as your family.
