In February, I had the absolute pleasure of attending Celebranttopia 2025, and what an experience it was! As celebrants, we pour so much of our time and energy into creating meaningful, personal ceremonies for others, but events like this remind me how important it is to also invest in ourselves and our businesses.
Celebranttopia 2025 brought together celebrants from across the country for two jam-packed days filled with inspiration, learning, and connection. I came away with a notebook full of ideas and, more importantly, the confidence and practical skills to keep building my celebrant business in a sustainable and successful way.
We had the chance to learn from experts in marketing, branding, websites, SEO, and social media. All the behind-the-scenes essentials that help us be more visible, build authentic relationships, and, ultimately, get booked by the couples and families we want to serve. It was like a one-stop shop for all the things that often feel overwhelming when you’re working alone, but suddenly felt achievable with the right advice and guidance.

For me, one of the biggest takeaways was that running a celebrant business isn’t just about writing beautiful ceremonies. It’s about making sure people know you exist, can find you, and feel a genuine connection with you before they even pick up the phone. Celebranttopia 2025 equipped me with both the tools and the mindset to do just that.
And I’m not just keeping these ideas in a notebook! I’ve already started putting them into practice! From refreshing how I share my work online, to building stronger connections with couples and families, I can already see the difference these small but powerful changes are making.
Of course, it wasn’t just about the learning. Meeting other celebrants, swapping stories, sharing ideas, and building friendships was such a highlight. There’s something so powerful about being in a room full of people who just get it. The support, the encouragement, and the laughter reminded me that although celebrancy can sometimes feel like a solo journey, I’m actually part of an incredible community!
I left Celebranttopia 2025 feeling motivated, better equipped, and more connected than ever. It gave me the skills to keep improving, both as a celebrant and as a business owner, and the reassurance that I’m not on this journey alone. And now, with those lessons already shaping the way I work, I can’t wait to see where the rest of this year takes me.
